The Minister of Civil Affairs and the Director of the Employers' Association of FBiH discussed key topics in the field of work and employment

The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, held a constructive meeting with the Director of the Employers' Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mario Nenadić, in order to discuss current issues affecting the labour market and the country's economic development.

Minister Bošnjak and Director Nenadić exchanged views on annual quotas for work permits and their impact on attracting foreign labour force and meeting the needs of the labour market. Strategies for attracting and retaining a qualified workforce in BiH were considered, as well as opportunities for professional training and re - training.

The conversation recognized the significance of digitizing the employment processes for efficiency and transparency, as well as the possibilities for implementing modern digital solutions.

Minister Bošnjak and the Director of the Employers' Association of FBiH highlighted the importance of effective mediation between employers and potential employees. They discussed ways to enhance mechanisms that connect qualified workforce with suitable jobs. Through the exchange of opinions, they emphasized the importance of supporting entrepreneurs to increase the competitiveness of their businesses in the domestic and global market.

They also analysed current labour market trends and identified areas that require additional efforts to ensure job stability and sustainability.

Minister Dubravka Bošnjak and Director Mario Nenadić expressed mutual dedication to ongoing dialogue and collaboration aimed at improving working conditions and the economic situation in the Federation of BiH. Both sides agreed that it is necessary to consistently work on creating a stimulating business environment that will support the growth and development of domestic enterprises, as well as attracting investments.
