On Thursday, 25 July 2024, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister of Civil Affairs, Dubravka Bošnjak, visited the Olympic Village in Paris.

In the Olympic Village, she met with members of the BH Olympic Team who will be competing in the Olympic Games in Paris.

Minister Bošnjak spoke with athletes, coaches, and delegation members, offering them support and encouragement. She also presented symbolic gifts to the team members as a sign of support and gratitude.

"It is a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to visit the Olympic Village and meet with the BH Olympic Team. I wish them much success in the competitions. We stand by our athletes and believe in their success at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris," said Minister Bošnjak.

The BH Olympic Team expressed deep gratitude for the visit and support received from Minister Bošnjak. Mesud Pezer, a Bosnian and Herzegovinian shot putter, stated that the visit from high-ranking officials to the BH Olympic Team is proof that things are changing for the better.

"We feel supported and valued. We are thankful to Minister Bošnjak for her visit and encouragement. We are confident that this support will help us give our best at the Games," Pezer said.

On the occasion of the visit, Lana Pudar, on behalf of the BH Olympic Team, presented Minister Bošnjak with a gift as a token of gratitude for her support and encouragement.

This is the first time that the Olympic Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received support from the highest state officials before their participation in the world’s biggest sports event, a practice commonly observed by teams from other countries that support and cheer for their athletes.
