Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met today in Sarajevo with representatives of the Taekwondo Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina and congratulated them on their outstanding success at the European Championship held in Belgrade from 9 to 12 May. Bosnian Taekwondo athletes won three medals, with Džejla Makaš winning silver, while Nedžad Husic and Ada Avdagic took third place.

The medal-winning Taekwondo athletes informed the minister about current competitions and upcoming challenges. They are satisfied with their achievements at the European Championship, especially considering that the medals were won in competition with around 600 competitors. It was emphasized that in the future, the priority remains participation in the largest sports competitions.

With these results, Taekwondo has become the most trophy-winning sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is certainly a great encouragement for further work.
