The Minister of Civil Affairs, Dubravka Bošnjak, held a constructive meeting with the representatives of the Embassy of the United States of America (USA) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was led by Mark Handloff, responsible for the environment, science, technology and health. The meeting was aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries and deepening cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.

The special focus of the conversation was on the fields of science, education, geology and health. Minister Bošnjak emphasized the importance of investing in science and education as a key factor for achieving long-term sustainable development. In this context, the possibilities for strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA were discussed.

Also, the minister discussed the potential of cooperation in the field of geology with representatives of the United States Embassy. The importance of sustainable use of geological resources and environmental protection is recognized on both sides.

In relation to the health sector, Minister Bošnjak and representatives of the United States Embassy discussed the possibilities for improving the health system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exchange of experts and best practices, and support in the field of public health. Both sides emphasized the importance of preserving and strengthening the health infrastructure in order to ensure quality healthcare for citizens.

The minister expressed her gratitude to the representatives of theUnited States Embassy for their support and engagement in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and especially for their support for the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was agreed that regular dialogue and joint activities will continue in order to achieve concrete results in areas of mutual interest.
