The request for the issuance of a shipping and maritime booklet is submitted to the Ministry through the locally competent authority for receiving and processing requests, namely the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Srpska, the Federal Ministry of Communications and Transport and the competent authority of Brčko District.

Issuance of shipping book

The request for the issuance of the shipping book is submitted on the appropriate form.

Evidence must be attached to the request:

1. proof of identity: identity card, passport, driver's license or other identification document that has the significance of a public document, on the basis of which the identity and place of residence or place of residence for a displaced person can be reliably determined;

2. proof of medical fitness to perform a specific job/jobs on an inland navigation ship issued by a health institution in accordance with the regulations governing the field of health care;

3. proof of qualification to perform a specific job/jobs on an inland navigation vessel (diploma, certificate, certificate, certificate, etc.)

4. proof of the paid fee for issuing the shipping book.

Evidence shall be submitted in photocopies certified by the competent authority for verification thereof.

Issuance of a seaman's book

A request for the issuance of a seaman's book shall be submitted to the Ministry through the locally competent authority for receiving and processing requests on the appropriate form.

The following evidence shall be attached to the request:

proof of identity: identity card, passport, driver's license or other identification document that has the significance of a public document on the basis of which the identity and permanent residence or temporary residence of a displaced person can be reliably determined;

proof of health fitness to perform a specific job/jobs on a seagoing vessel issued by a health institution in accordance with the regulations governing the field of health care;

proof that the person is qualified to perform a specific job/jobs on a seagoing vessel;

proof of payment of the fee for the issuance of a seaman's book.

The evidence shall be submitted in photocopies certified by the competent authority for verification thereof.
