Office
The following tasks are performed in the Legal, Personnel and General Affairs Department:
- participation in the drafting of laws and by-laws within the competence of the Ministry;
- participation in the drafting of international agreements within the competence of the Ministry;
- participation in the drafting of the Ministry's work program and work reports;
- providing expert opinions on materials within the competence of the Ministry and drafting information within the competence of the Ministry;
- if necessary, participating in the drafting of answers to parliamentary questions within the competence of the Ministry;
- drafting of general acts of the Ministry;
- personnel and personnel affairs;
- ensuring that every civil servant and employee of the Ministry has unhindered access to his or her file;
- coordinating necessary activities with the Civil Service Agency and the Civil Service Appeals Board;
- with the prior approval of the Minister, submitting to the Agency the needs for the employment of civil servants in the Ministry;
- monitoring and ensuring activities related to the training of civil servants;
- perform clerical, archive, transcription, copying and duplication of materials; typing, courier and transportation services for Ministry employees and for the needs of the Ministry;
- as well as other services that are of general and common interest to the Ministry.
