Statistics on the Participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in COST Actions in 2025

In 2025, a total of 290 researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina (180 women and 110 men) participated in COST activities. Out of the total number of researchers, 95 fall into the category of young researchers.

During the reporting period, 855 positions in Action Working Groups were recorded from Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 465 were held by women and 390 by men.

For researchers from our country, COST Actions enabled participation in:

• 12 Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM),

• 20 leadership positions, and

• 29 training activities.

In total, 7 Short-Term Scientific Missions and 7 meetings were organised in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 2025, the COST Programme allocated EUR 317,824 to researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
