The Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Biljana Čamur Veselinović, held a meeting with a delegation from India, led by the Additional Secretary in Central Europe Division of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Arun Kumar Sahu, and the Indian Ambassador to Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Partha Satpathy.

During the discussions, the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and India was emphasized, particularly in the fields of education, culture, and technology. It was highlighted that Bosnia and Herzegovina and India do not have signed cooperation agreements in these areas, and it would be useful to initiate steps for signing such agreements, thus further developing mutual ties.

The meeting also explored opportunities for establishing technological parks, which would elevate cooperation in the fields of innovation and technology to a higher level. Special attention was given to youth. It was noted that an increasing number of students from India are studying in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which the members of the Indian delegation were particularly interested in. They also presented the opportunities offered by Indian universities to our students.

The meeting was used to analyse the possibilities for improving relations between the two countries and to define potential future projects and cooperation in the sectors within the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
