Meeting of Minister Bošnjak and Ambassador Soreca: Focus on Education, Healthcare, and European Integration

The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met with the newly appointed Head of the European Union Delegation in BiH, Ambassador Luigi Soreca. During their first official meeting, they discussed important topics such as education, culture, healthcare, and European integration, which are crucial for further progress of BiH towards EU membership.

Soreca recently took on this role, succeeding the former ambassador, Johann Sattler. His main task will be to ensure continuity in the implementation of reforms and to bring BiH closer to EU membership, which is a shared strategic goal. The ambassador expressed his satisfaction with arriving in BiH and emphasized his commitment to working on the country’s European path.

Minister Bošnjak wished Ambassador Soreca a successful mandate, highlighting the importance of close cooperation to enhance the European integration process of BiH. They jointly assessed that working on the implementation of key reforms essential for further progress within the Stabilization and Association Process towards EU membership is vital for the country’s future.
