Education and Employment – Minister Bošnjak with the Employers' Association

The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met with the President of the Employers' Association of the Federation of BiH, Adnan Smailbegović, and the Director of the Association, Mario Nenadić, to discuss challenges in the areas of labour migration, work permit issuance, and aligning education with the labour market.

The need for more efficient procedures was emphasized to ensure better alignment of the workforce's qualifications with the needs of employers.

The meeting also assessed that employers in various sectors are increasingly facing difficulties in finding qualified labour, which requires a systemic approach and better alignment of educational programmes with market demands.

Minister Bošnjak confirmed the Ministry of Civil Affairs' commitment to working with relevant institutions on all projects and tasks aimed at reducing labour migration from the country and ensuring the competitiveness of the domestic economy.
