Minister Bošnjak with the President of the Olympic Committee of BiH: Focus on strengthening support for sport

The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met with the newly appointed President of the Olympic Committee of BiH, Davor Komšić, with whom she discussed strengthening cooperation and advancing the development of sport in our country.

During the meeting, priorities in the field of sport were considered, including strengthening support for elite athletes, improving conditions for international competitions, and promoting Olympic values among young people.

Bošnjak emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH to continuous support for the Olympic Committee of BiH, highlighting the importance of coordinated action at all levels of government for the systematic development of sport and the strengthening of institutional support for the Olympic movement.

Komšić expressed gratitude for the support provided so far and readiness to continue activities aimed at promoting sport, especially among young people, and further strengthening the Olympic movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors also highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue and coordination between competent institutions and sports organizations in order to strengthen institutional support and ensure better conditions for the development of sport.
