Intercultural Council presents its activities to Minister Bošnjak: The importance of preserving cultural heritage

The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, held a meeting with representatives of the Intercultural Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which brings together key cultural organizations of the peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Bosniak Cultural Community Preporod, the Croatian Cultural Society Napredak, the Serbian Educational and Cultural Society Prosvjeta, and the Jewish Cultural, Educational, and Humanitarian Society La Benevolencija.
The meeting was attended by the president of HKD Napredak, Nikola Čiča, the president of BZK Preporod, Sanjin Kodrić, and the president of the Board of Directors of SPKD Prosvjeta, Dejan Garić.
The topic of the meeting was the presentation of the work and activities of the Intercultural Council, which was established with the goal of strengthening intercultural dialogue and cooperation among the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discussions were held about the Council's past activities, joint projects, promotion of cultural heritage, and initiatives that should contribute to the preservation of the identity of all peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants emphasized the importance of support in implementing joint projects that contribute to strengthening intercultural dialogue.
Minister Bošnjak highlighted the significance of these organizations as guardians of the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized that the Ministry will continue to support their work.
Representatives of cultural organizations thanked the minister for the ongoing cooperation and expressed their willingness to continue working on projects that will further strengthen intercultural ties and contribute to better understanding among the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
