“I congratulate Prof. Dr. Sc. Ivan Ćavar on receiving the State Award for international achievements in 2025. His dedicated work, expertise, and continuous commitment to scientific research contribute not only to the development of science in BiH, but also to strengthening its reputation in the world,” said Minister Bošnjak.
She added that the Ministry of Civil Affairs, within its competencies, continues to support projects and initiatives that advance science and professional competencies in the country, emphasizing that investment in science has no alternative.
Prof. Dr. Sc. Ćavar emphasized that he sees the award as confirmation of the continuity of scientific work and the importance of research in the development of modern society.
“This recognition also reflects the contribution of colleagues, collaborators, and institutions with whom I have worked, as well as the importance of inter-institutional and international cooperation in the development of science,” he said.
Ćavar’s scientific work is marked by international collaboration and publications in relevant scientific journals, along with a high citation rate that confirms his influence in the fields of biomedicine, immunology, and clinical medicine.
The award confirms the importance of continuous investment in science as one of the key drivers of social and economic development.
