Minister Bošnjak and Ambassador Reilly Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in Education

Dubravka Bošnjak, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met with Julian Reilly, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and opportunities to further enhance cooperation in the fields of culture, education, youth mobility, and demining.

In addition, the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson, invited Minister Bošnjak to participate in the World Education Forum in London, scheduled for May, where ministers will discuss the development of inclusive and high-quality education systems, as well as the strengthening of resilience and innovation.

Ambassador Reilly emphasized the United Kingdom’s strong commitment to the further development of relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also announced the continuation of policies aimed at building a stable and prosperous Bosnia and Herzegovina, and supporting its Euro-Atlantic integration.

Minister Bošnjak expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for its long-standing support to Bosnia and Herzegovina towards European integration.

The Government of the United Kingdom offers students from Bosnia and Herzegovina numerous prestigious and widely recognized scholarships, such as the Chevening Scholarships, the British Council Women in STEM Scholarship, and the British Scholarship Trust, providing opportunities to study at renowned universities across the United Kingdom.
