Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, held talks today in Sarajevo with the President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), Aleksandar Boričić, along with the President of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milutin Popović, and the member of the Board of Volleyball Federation of BiH, Mirsad Kadrić.
CEV President Aleksandar Boričić briefed Minister Bošnjak on the work of the European Volleyball Confederation and emphasized the importance CEV attaches to the advancement of volleyball in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Boričić highlighted the progress of volleyball in our country over the past few years and expressed CEV's support for further development of this sport.
President of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milutin Popović, informed the minister about the current activities of the Volleyball Federation of BiH, as well as about the performances that await the BiH national team, emphasizing the qualifications for the 2026 European Women's Championship. Minister Bošnjak expressed her support for the Volleyball Federation of BiH and wished them success in the upcoming competitions.
Minister Bošnjak emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and sports organizations aimed at improving sports activities and supporting successful athletes.
